Join us for our January ‘Performance Academy Camp’ at William Green in Pakuranga!

The Coerver® Coaching Performance Academy is a football training programme for dedicated individuals seeking additional professional training to improve their technical ability and become more advanced players. Our goal is to provide comprehensive football education for young players looking to acquire the skills necessary to elevate their game to the next level. The Coerver® Coaching method is based on our globally recognised pyramid of player development and helps players acquire the individual technical skills necessary to become confident, creative football players.

The Performance Academy Camp runs for 3 days that will focus on developing technical skill via Ball Mastery, 1 v 1 Game moves and Small Sided Games. Each day will include Ball Mastery, 1v1 attack and defence, receiving and passing, small sided Coerver® games and mini ‘World Cup’ tournament. The Holiday Camp curriculum that we teach is based on the follow elements:

TECHNIQUE
The cornerstone of our curriculum is technical development. We utilize the Coerver® Method of ball mastery and graduated pressure to build technical competence and play carefully selected games to build functional success.

PLAYER CONFIDENCE
We foster creativity by providing the players technical building blocks & encouraging creative actions in developmentally appropriate games. Our games are designed to be fun, challenging and to reward success and risk-taking.

TEAMWORK
Small group tactics and principles of play are taught in attack and defence by utilizing the structure of the many small sided games, which have made the Coerver® Curriculum so unique and recognised as the world’s leading technical football program.

SPORTSMANSHIP
We value winning but not more than character and effort. We encourage paying respect to players, parents, coaches and referees. Sportsmanship is emphasized to develop the whole person and not just the player.
